why is this not all over the news right this second, to echo kapunua's sentiment? seriously. THIS is news, not fucking britney spears or whatever dumb-ass i don't care about that is popular at the moment.

I agree with you. Stuff like this should be the headline. However, the news companies peddle what people want and it is a sad statement in the US when the general population cares more about a dog taken from Ellen or Brittney than oh... wars and stuff.

Now having said that, I see science articles like this all the time and most of the time they are nearly completely misleading or wrong (especially when there are so few details). *crossed fingers that it is true though*
